Originally from Italy. where it is widely grown. The large lime green heads consist of many pinnacles or spears which can be individually snapped off as required. A very distinctive broccoli with magnificent flavour and soft texture.
Sow thinly in seed raising mix in a container. Transplant seedlings 45cm apart. Keep seedlings moist and feed with a liquid fertiliser every 3 weeks to ensure quick growth for the best crop. Protect from snails.
